SPA June Social & Tour at the Wright House
Tuesday, June 17 | 5:30 PM
Hosted by Donna Punihaole | 507 W 14th Avenue
Join us for a summer evening of community and charm at the Fred & Winifred Wright House—an architectural gem nestled between Manito and Cannon Hill Parks in Spokane’s Cliff/Cannon neighborhood. Built in 1913 by Spokane homebuilder F.E. Martin, this beautifully restored Craftsman bungalow boasts exposed rafters, original wood shingles, honey-colored gumwood trim, and a rich history of family, craftsmanship, and thoughtful preservation. Now officially listed on the Spokane Register of Historic Places, the Wright House is a testament to Spokane’s enduring architectural legacy.
Every quarter, SPA members gather for a relaxed evening of connection, conversation, and preservation appreciation. Hosted in one of our members’ historic homes, these potluck-style gatherings invite you to bring a dish to share or a bottle of wine to open. Whether you’re a longtime preservationist or a new member with a love for Spokane’s architectural charm, it’s a chance to swap stories, build community, and celebrate the places that make our city unique.
All members, friends, and potential members are encouraged to attend.
