• Spokane Historic Preservation Office - a joint city/county agency whose mission is to identify and facilitate the preservation of significant properties over fifty years old, thereby recycling existing structures at a savings to the community and enhancing our quality of life.  This office serves as an advisor to Spokane Preservation Advocates.

• Washington State Office of Archaeology and Historic Preservation - the State level resource for knowledge and expertise in historic preservation.

• National Register of Historic Places - information about this national preservation program.  Also includes a searchable list of properties.

• National Trust for Historic Preservation - a private, nonprofit organization dedicated to protecting the irreplaceable. It fights to save historic buildings and the neighborhoods and landscapes they anchor.

• Working on the Past in Local Historic Districts - a new site from the National Park Service on creating, managing, and living in a local historic district. 

• Protecting Community Character - from the National Trust which provides a host of tools to forge community revitalization strategies.

• Illustrated Guidelines for Rehabilitating Historic Buildings - the Secretary of the Interior's guidelines for Certified Rehabilitation for Federal tax purposes.

• Northwest Room - House History Page - Spokane Public Library's Northwest Room has information to help you trace the history of your house. 

• PreservationDirectory.com - a cultural resource marketing and research service that includes a categorized list of preservation web sites and a photo database.  Originally developed by a local company.

• PreserveNet - comprehensive database of internet resources for historic preservationists from Cornell University

• Scenic America - an organization devoted to preserving America's scenic resources and hometown assets.
