Responsibilities

SPA Booth at the 2007 Mother's Day Tour.

SPA's Old House Contractors & Resources is now available for viewing in .pdf format.  You will need to download Adobe Reader to view the file, which is in read-only format.

The committee is in charge of the SPA Booth and spreading the word about SPA at local community events.  The booth will be at the Mother's Day Tour, at the Labor Day Comstock Park Celebration, and at least one other event, such as the Home and Garden Show or Custer Antique Show.  Let us know if you can help out at these events.

Check out our SPA Speaker's Bureau Directory if you have a group that would be interested in hearing a short talk on many local historic preservation topics.

The committee is always looking for new members for input and help with projects.

SPA Update

The committee is responsible for the quarterly newsletter, SPA Update, which is included with SPA membership. Thanks to Julie Olsen of OfficeTech for formatting and printing our newsletters for free.

The newsletter is taking business card size ads for $25. We are also running a special - four consecutive ads in the Update for $75.  Contact Mary Anne Brown at 838-4786 if you would like to place an ad or have story ideas for upcoming newsletters.

Committee Mission: Increases awareness of SPA's activities among SPA members, other community groups, community leaders, the media, and the general public.
